Helpdesk & Support

Support is just a phone call away. Our experienced payroll & human resource practitioners will log & answer all your support queries. Management at Frontier Software regularly review statistics to ensure that our response to your calls is of the highest standard.

Project Management

Our experienced project managers will work closely with you, planning your implementation to perfectly match your business. Specific tasks, responsibilities, and appropriate start and completion times are allocated. Your internal Project Manager will receive updated project plans at all stages of the project.

User Training

The software product chris21 and the bureau/outsourcing service have been designed to be untuitive in use. Our team of trainers are on hand to guide you through all features and topics, helping you grasp even the smallest function. ‘Hands on’ training is also available at your office or our location and a wide variety of published courses are available.

Data Conversion/Migration

Data conversion and migration is always felt to be a difficult task. However, Frontier Software provide a range of data conversion facilities to transfer data from your legacy system. This is a seamless process and you can rest assured, knowing that we have performed conversion tasks from all major and minor systems including payroll bureaux.

Converting data does not relate just to ‘current’ employees, because the conversion tools allow terminated employees (leavers) and historical items to be transferred either simultaneously or separately. With Frontier Software data conversion is simple and painless.

Each country holds a user group at least once per year and we welcome and urge all client representatives to attend.

User Communication

Frontier Software has delivered a first class proven product since 1983. A key factor behind our success is a close relationship with our customers. We believe that it is essential for every user to receive adequate communication relating to all aspects of the products and services we deliver.

We achieve this by creating and distributing newsletters, topic notes and product launch details. Customer surveys are popular and help Frontier Software gain an insight into your concerns. The content of these surveys is invaluable, and is used to guide future product direction.

Documentation

On-line documentation is just a click away. Context help, tutorial guides, field help, procedural flow, are all components of our product. Every desktop user has a 'point & click' facility to read user documentation, which is easy to understand and easy to navigate. Appropriate documentation is also made available at user training sessions. Yet another example of our commitment to users.

Focus Groups

Focus groups are held to satisfy the demands of our users. Design ideas, service levels and general issues are discussed which ultimately form part of future software and service releases. Products can always be improved, which is why contributions made by smaller group meetings are always welcome at Frontier Software.

Inland Revenue Standards

Payroll software, by its very nature, needs to be regularly updated - both from a statutory and user aspect. To deliver a first class payroll and human resource product, it is essential to conform to Inland Revenue directives. Frontier Software attends Inland Revenue meetings to understand future payroll policy changes, which naturally form part of future upgrades.

Frontier Software plc (UK) has obtained compliance to the Inland Revenue payroll accreditation scheme.

Professional Accreditation - ISO

Throughout the group, different areas of the business have gained ISO accreditation. By November 2002, the UK operation and Australian payroll bureau have gained this important accreditation standard.

Software Maintenance Agreement

This annual agreement offers a comprehensive licence holder maintenance agreement that provides:

• FREE software upgrades
• FREE documentation changes
• User group invitation
• Telephone / Email supportSoftware upgrades contain both statutory requirements and specific user requests. These usually occur twice a year. An upgrade to your existing software can be performed by staff of Frontier Software or by yourselves.

Audit Review

Users of any system regularly change and it is with this in mind that this service has been introduced. A review of your existing environment is undertaken highlighting functional aspects that need to be considered. In addition, it is an opportunity for a user to improve business processes.
