Personnel Management

chris21’s integrated environment and unlimited historical design means the transfer of data across all HR boundaries is only limited by your imagination! Easy data entry, seamless integration with documents, powerful navigation, unlimited history and retention of leaver records bring HR departments right up to date and on-line.

Establishment and Organisation Management chris21’s flexibility lends itself well to the constant ebb and flow of change within organisations throughout the world. Additions or amendments – whether they be positions, divisions, departments or even companies - can be made at any time. Graphical organisational reporting can also occur at any time.

Multiple Contracts

Many organisations offer employees the opportunity of being employed with multiple contracts. This is particularly relevant to Government (Central and Local), Education (Lecturers) and Health (Hospitals/Trusts). Each contract has its own terms and conditions. This facility offers easy administration and automation of payment rules.

Payroll

This powerful module covers all country specific legislative requirements. Users can easily define processing terms – the number of payments, deductions, pension or superannuation provisions are only limited by an organisations own parameters.

Payroll accounting is of vital importance and Frontier Software provides an extensive array of interfaces to all the world’s ledger accounting systems. Employee payroll queries are par for the course within any business, and chris21 provides the answers with immediate access to unlimited historical data.

Absence and Leave Management

The control and reporting of absences is a mandatory requirement for businesses, and chris21 provides unlimited history and a powerful toolset whereby a company’s entitlement rules are specified. Unlimited rules can apply for all employees entitlement held within the database. Absence analysis and liability reporting are all covered along with statutory sickness calculations and maternity calculations - Leave liability reporting creates accounting entries.

Human Resource Reporting

An extensive range of standard reports exist and users simply select from menus. Reports encompass the complete spectrum of HR activities – Age Analysis, Headcounts, Skill Profiles, Establishment Service Analysis, New Starters, Vacancy Reports, Leavers etc.

Users can also make additions to suit - creating bespoke menus to accommodate ad hoc reporting will result in a complete and tailored reporting environment. Graphical display and statistical data is created by using the ad hoc report designer. Spreadsheets can be formatted and Excel incorporated for further data manipulation. The ad-hoc report designer allows both the novice and the experienced user to drag and drop data fields into the report layout.

Learning & Development

This module manages the attendance of training courses - from selecting employees for the correct programme, to reserving places and making bookings. Course evaluations and subsequent analysis will ensure that courses are aligned to create business benefit. This module is also an invaluable tool in cost control and budget management within any training management function.

Confirmation letters and course content profiles are held within Word, and a seamless interface means this module provides a one stop administration facility.

Recruitment Administration

Only with the right people on board will a company maintain its competitive edge. The Recruitment Administration module smoothly administrates the whole candidate selection and vacancy tracking process.

Seamless integration with Word makes light work of paperwork and because chris21 is an integrated solution, all data entered onto the database for new recruits is automatically transferred into the Employee database.

Benefit and Compensation Administration

Every organisation is unique and compensation packages, rewards and benefits need to match commercial objectives, in line with industry standards. chris21 facilitates the administrative process, allowing users to specify which allowances are to be granted. Market analysis of ‘What If’ modelling provides management with rules which form the basis of informed compensation/benefit information.

Health & Safety

Organisations utilising this module have the benefit of a complete record of accidents or incidents, exposure to industrial hazards, rehabilitation, workers compensation claims and associated medical visits.

This comprehensive suite offers unlimited reporting and unlimited history for all health and safety related issues.

Performance & Skills Tracking

chris21 maintains current and historical appraisal information. This can be linked to needs analysis and subsequent skill and competency monitoring.

A range of evaluation facilities are available.

Salary Planning

A 'what if' salary modelling facility exists whereby both fixed amounts and/or percentages can be applied. Automatic salary Increments and the use of Pay Spines and Award progression is included.

Mileage Payment & P11D - (UK)

This module is only applicable to the UK country specific version. UK Legislation dictates that when P11D dispensation has not been given, the employer must report all employee benefits. This process covers cars, loans accommodation provision and any other benefits not taxed at source.

Mileage payments and the taxation policies of such payments are included and when statutory rules change, upgrades are provided as part of Frontier Software’s maintenance policy.

Employee Self Service - HR21

Implementation of the self service kiosk offers organisations significant cost savings, particularly with implementation of the managers self service kiosk.

The design of the browser-based Employee Self Service module allows users to change its shape to fit corporate standards. Unlimited database history and instant access, means paper or hard copy records soon become a thing of the past.

With entry via an appropriate log-on and id password, employees can browse and amend their own employment records on-line by using this browser-based product. This facility brings an organisation enormous benefits – saving greatly on time, administration and manpower.

Examples of its use include: changes to bank account details, change of address, vacancy applications, training requests, payroll history, current tax codes and deductions. This browser-based internet/intranet module means employee queries are significantly reduced for a company’s HR / Payroll function.

Manager Self Service - HR21

By adopting approved workflow processes, managers no longer have to handle paper approvals. An employee enters a request (e.g. leave application, course requisition, timesheet, etc) and the manager reviews the request for approval or rejection. These workflow processes offers reduced phonecalls and 'paper chasing' that will ultimately improve company profits.

E-Recruitment - eR21

This Internet solution will allow candidates to apply (register) interest for any vacancy. This module will be accessed from within your company website. Automatic email acknowledgement is given and automatic updating of an applicants details within the Recruitment Administration module occurs.
